A note to the MU* community...

After the recent rehosting of our website I took a look at what it would take to get the ASpace site and forums running again. It turns out a less than trivial amount of work is required to convert the site to its new location. This is complicated by the fact that the forum software we were using has an expired license.

So given the fact that I have had no personal involvement in the MU* scene in more than four years I've chosen to simply archive this site.

It's ironic that when I started this site, about five years ago, it was really at the end of my MU*'ing. When Atuarre originally released AttySpace I worked with Mordak to take the source and produce a Win32 build (with automatic installer) of PennMUSH with AttySpace. Personally I thought it was hilarious that we were able to take this awesome space system that was historically the sole domain of very adept wizards running on it a dedicated UNIX box and give any lunatic that could click NEXT twice on their Windows box a fully operational version complete with a sample db sporting working ships.

I have very fond memories of my time playing TNG TrekMUSE and ATS TrekMUSH. Especially the early days (for me at least) from 1994-1997 when I was much more of a player than an admin. So with these final thoughts I close this last lingering precense I have in the realm of MU*'s and leave to you the archived contents of this website. I've done my best to coalesce all the useful content that was in the site in a single place. Please feel free to browse.

If you'd like to contact me, please feel free to do so at yarb@whizy.com. I can't promise I will always reply but I often do and I like to hear from the old timers from time to time.

With warmest regards,
David (aka Yarb) Yarbrough
